Our History
We opened Signature beauty center in December 2010 as a tiny little shop with only two staff and three stations. Due to our service and lovely, loyal customer base, we’ve been lucky enough to expand our services and team. We now have eight staff, nine stations, three sunbeds and two beauty rooms.
Despite our growth, we haven’t lost the way we want to run our beauty center and the service we want to provide. The core of our beauty center is the same as it was in 2010, a family-run business that prides itself in its friendly atmosphere. That’s why our clients and staff keep coming back. We’re our own little community here at Signature, and that’s what makes the place so special.
We’ve also been able to add beauty services. You can now visit our beauty center and receive permanent makeup and beauty treatments, so we’re excited to see you come down and join the Signature family!
Our Ethos
Fitting in with our family and community-first mentality, we try to be as involved as possible in our local area. We always look to support local charity events to help the community, as there’s nothing more important than home.
We take on children and young adults of a range of ages, from work experience when they’re still at school to taking on apprentices to help school leavers push forward in their careers. This is a win-win situation for us, as we get to make a difference whilst taking on talented young hairdressers and beauticians.
Once somebody joins our staff, they become part of the Signature family. We embrace our relationships fully here, and we are more than colleagues, we are friends. From Christmas parties to a Friday on the town, we love socials here, and every Halloween, you may spot us enjoying dressing up for the occasion!
